Serve Teams

At CCCDS, we want to be like Jesus and be the kind of people He wanted us to be. This is why we offer many ways to serve one another, the community and the world. Please consider deepening your relationship with others and Christ by choosing one or more of our Serve Teams to serve with. Our Serve Teams will allow you to use your hobbies, interests and job skills to reach others with the love of Christ. We do not want anyone to think of serving as ‘work’ so choose the team or teams that best fit your God given interests and preferences. He made you the way you are for a reason! As you serve others, you will find that you are blessed with joy as well. If you look through our Serve Teams and are not sure where you can use your interest and skills best, contact us at Serve Teams and let us know your creative skills and what you prefer to do. We will help you find the best place for you to serve with us!

	Greeter Team - Start off easy by serving on our Greeting Team. Meet in the front of the church at 9:50 to hand out bulletins and greet others as they come in the doors. Have a big smile and warm heart ready to extend to others. Call Shannon Easley at 571-5813 to get more information or to join this team.
	Café Team - Get to know others you go to church with and welcome visitors by setting up and serving at the Café on Sunday Mornings and at other events that our church hosts. Call Vanessa Barnett at 664-6845
	Administration Team - Got ‘WORD’ or “EXCEL” skills? Use them to serve others by creating flyers for our events, helping with our web presence. Please fill out the form to get more info or to join this team.
	Visual Media Team - Can you, or are you interested in learning to run our media display board? For this team you show up at 9:45 and keep the media display going through the service. If you have experience networking or creating visual media, we can use you on this team as well. Please fill out the form or call Sherilyn Forbes at 664-0989 to get more info or to join this team.
	Sound Board and Lighting Team - Can you or are you interested in learning to run the sound board or lights for Sunday services or other events? Serve others by making sure the sound is blended well for worship and that others can hear and see what’s going on so they don’t miss a thing! 	Food Service Team - This team provides food, set up, decorating and cleaning for various events that will be held in our Reception Hall. You are put on a call roster to provide food but are not obligated in any way to provide food every time. You can bring a dish, decorate, set up, tear down or clean or all of the above for any event. 	Cleaning Team - This team is formed of two or more people who are formed into teams and who take turns cleaning the church. Right now the roster has each two person (or more) team cleaning once every two months. The more people we have on this team, the longer each team has between service. 	Maintenance Team - If you have any experience with small home or office repairs, we can use you on this team. Please fill out the form to get more info or to join this team.
	Arts/Media Team - Like to take photographs, paint, draw, create, decorate or design on or off the computer? This team consists of anyone who enjoys anything arts-crafts-or media. Please fill out the form to get more info or to join this team.
	Praise and Worship Team - If you can play an instrument, sing or just make a joyful noise to the Lord, you can join this team. You can sing in the choir for special events or on Sunday mornings or both. Please fill out the form or call Jim Forbes at 664-0989 to get more info or to join this team.
	Community Missions Team - Work with Shannon and other teams to develop, promote and organize our community outreaches. Please fill out the form or call Shannon at 571-5813 to get more info or to join this team.
	World Missions Team - Work with Bro David to promote and organize our world mission outreaches. Please fill out the form to get more info or to join this team.
	Prayer Team - Pray for our church, community and the world and organize and develop a prayer ministry throughout all aspects of our church. Please fill out the form to get more info or to join this team.
